Pakistan has expressed its commitment to promote education and literacy in the country by education policies at domestic level and getting involved into international commitments on education.In this regard national education policies are the visions which suggest strategies to increase literacy rate, capacity building, and enhance facilities in the schools and educational institutes.
Assessment is based on the memory of the students rather than their performance.
On the basis of this study it is recommended that the problems can be solved by robust system of accountability, eradication of corruption, quality assessment system, non political interference, quality curriculum, teacher motivation.
Problems of access, quality, infrastructure and inequality of opportunity, remain endemic.
A) MDGs and Pakistan Due to the problems in education system of Pakistan, the country is lagging behind in achieving its MDGs of education.
The system of supervision is weak and traditionally characterized having no effective mechanism for teacher training with poor system of accountability, teachers are underpaid and successive educational policies have failed to bring any positive changes in the system due to poor implementation.
